ACAOM announces new commissioner [20 Sep. 2019]
The Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) is pleased to announce the election of a new Commissioner.
Angela Tseng, DAOM, L.Ac, will serve as an Academic/Educator member of the Commission. She received her Master of Science in Acupuncture (’99) and Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (’06) from Bastyr University, and has been a practitioner and an educator of Oriental Medicine since 2000. She has served as the Interim Associate Dean of Traditional World Medicines, as DAOM program director and is currently the Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine Department Chair at Bastyr University. Through her clinical teaching role she has worked in collaborative settings such as Providence Regional Cancer Partnership, Harborview Medical Center, Skagit Valley Hospital Cancer Care Center and Virginia Mason Medical Center. Dr. Tseng has also completed a program in medical teaching, the Teaching Scholars, with the University of Washington. Dr. Tseng has co-authored a book in Chinese Herbal Medicine and has been a site visitor with ACAOM.
